One of the pioneers of the smart, clever, and devilishly charismatic romantic comedies such as When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle, Nora Ephron had been a prominent figure of the film business since her first Academy Award-nominated screenplay, the drama Silkwood. Since then, Ephron was nominated for the award twice more, proving that she truly was one of the most creative and powerful screenwriters in the business, that even when she picked projects that weren€™t universal hits, she believed in them and worked for them. It€™s easy to tell how much somebody loves their work through their work, and by her films, Nora Ephron loved her work more than anyone.
