7. Double-0 Briefcase - From Russia With Love

One of the earliest gadgets from Q's library, this briefcase all but assures the user that nobody is getting in it.

Formerly a standard issue to all 00-agents, this was formerly a standard attaché case before Q got his hands on it. To the public eye, it's still a dull briefcase, but settled in the corner is a small throwing knife, several rounds of ammunition in the base to fit the folding Armalite sniper rifle within the main compartment and gold sovereigns just in case a large Russian man runs out of cigarettes.

It is essentially identical to its novel counterpart with the exception of one extra feature, that being a cartridge of tear gas disguised as a can of talcum powder for any poor fool who tries to break into it.

The surprises in the case are used to great effect almost entirely in the fight between 007 and henchman Red Grant. In the fight on the train, the heavy detonates the tear gas in his face, and the knife is used to disarm him of garrotting wire for long enough so Bond can take advantage and eliminate his adversary.
