Jason Bourne: 10 Reasons It's A Huge Disappointment

3. The Final Battle Is Awkward & Nonsensical

Though the movie's finale undeniably delivers a thrilling car chase along the Las Vegas strip as Jason Bourne hunts down the asset, the whole thing feels quite clumsily put together.

If the asset wants to flee Bourne, why the hell does he kill a SWAT team member and steal a gigantic, conspicuous armoured vehicle? Why not just kill one of the thousands of regular civilians and steal their car instead? You can argue the asset wasn't thinking clearly because he was wounded, but the guy's meant to be a pro, and the logic is incredibly flimsy.

Then there's the final fist-fight between the two, which could've been amazing were it not filmed in incredibly low light and was therefore difficult to actually make out. Plus, it was over far too quickly and never allowed the audience to savour what was going on.
