2. The Anticlimactic Ending

The staple of every Bourne movie is that it ends on an impactful note before a version of Moby's Extreme Ways hits to play us out on a somewhat uplifting note, but that feeling just isn't really found this time.

Sure, it was a cool revelation that Heather really was in it for herself and likely would've double-crossed Bourne later on down the line, but Bourne realising her deception and walking away through a park just seemed incredibly anti-climactic and weak for an ending. It didn't leave audiences exhilarated as the credits rolled, but merely accepting that, as usual, Bourne escapes before the net closes in.
