Justice League: 10 New Details Revealed By Director Zack Snyder
5. Hans Zimmer And Junkie XL's Score Will Return
"Josstice League" boasted a score by the legendary Danny Elfman (whose credits include Batman, Spider-Man, and Avengers: Age of Ultron), but with all due respect to the composer, it did not work.
Despite the movie's tone being a weird cross between The Avengers and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, his operatic score didn't fit what was playing on screen, with throwbacks to the Dark Knight and Man of Steel's previous big screen adventures more awkward than awe-inspiring. As you might expect, though, Snyder is planning to return to his original plan for his version of Justice League.
He responded with an enthusiastic "F**k yes!" when asked if the "Snyder Cut" will include Junkie XL's original score, while also promising that Hans Zimmer's work from Man of Steel is also set to be featured. That alone will transform this movie, and given how well-received their work has been, it's bound to overshadow what was quite frankly a rush job by Elfman.
