Justice League Film: 10 Things We Want To See

3. Aquaman Owns

I'm going to say this right here and now, I'm sick and tired of everyone treating Aquaman as if he's some useless, girly, speedo wearing failure. In case you hadn't noticed, the ocean takes up two thirds of the planet. 71% of this world belongs to Aquaman. That means he can go where no other can on the majority of the planet and control whatever beasts roam its depths. He is, fairly consistently, one of the most well written characters, has some of the greatest abilities, and is also capable of surviving on land where much of his abilities, like strength and speed, translate. He's versatile and unique and can do more than most League members combined. Aquaman is awesome. The reason he gets such a high slot on this list is because it's time we showed the world just what he's capable of. Out of any character that would be the most like Hulk, to surprise viewers as being who stood out, it's Aquaman. He's got to be a well written and appropriate version of the character, of course, none of this speedo wearing, short hair stuff. We're talking sword hand, beard, Thor of the Ocean stuff. He's got to be tough, large, and intimidating and his abilities need to be utilized in several different ways. A final fight taking place over the ocean could prove for some great opportunities for Aquaman to call upon some giant sea creatures and make some big waves. When all's said and done, Aquaman is actually a very important character who has always been a core member of the League. Everyone likes him and he's never been anything but useful and vital. To shun him just because everyone else in the world misunderstands him would be foolish. It's time to show the non-believers what he's capable of and how important he is.
