Kingsman 2: 8 Huge Predictions For The Golden Circle

3. Harry Hart Is Far From Dead

It's no secret that one of the key elements that made the first Kingsman film work was the inclusion of Colin Firth, who played Harry Hart, a sort of mentor to Taron Egerton's Eggsy. Tragically, Samuel L. Jackson's Richmond Valentine appears to shoot Hart in the head, killing him. But it's extremely likely he's not really dead.

As mentioned, Colin Firth's character was a fan favourite, and one of the things that ensured the success of the first film. Secondly, both Firth and director Matthew Vaughn have expressed great interest in the character's return. There's also the fact that the first official poster for the The Golden Circle strongly hints at it, showing Hart's glasses missing a lens and the quote “reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated."

Besides, there are several ways of bringing Firth back. The glasses in the poster may be a hint of some sort of bulletproof lenses, which wouldn't be particularly far-fetched in a film full of spy gadgetry. There's also the fact that Sam Jackson's Valentine hates blood and gore, and so can't even look at Firth while shooting him. Perhaps the bullet didn't enter the centre of his head but actually only grazed the side? We never actually see a body...
