4. A Cheeky Deadpool Riff

Imagine how much the Internet would explode if the rumoured link-up of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool actually came off, even in just a comedic tag scene. It would be worth it for the reaction alone.

And of course it is actually possible: both Deadpool and this iteration of Wolverine are probably in slightly separate universes to the mainline of the X-Men... Who's to say they're not in the same different one? 'Pool did mention Jackman's Logan in his movie, after all, so the groundwork is already there...

How Likely Is it?

Bad news, 'Pool fans, no matter how much you want to see a Wolverine/Deadpool team-up, it's probably not as likely as some of the reports of a Ryan Reynolds cameo might have you believe.

Deadpool simply wouldn't suit this sombre take on Wolverine's world, and the only way it would work is if the scene were actually a belated stinger for Deadpool with a younger, less depressing Logan in what would amount to a skit. It'd be a nice way to send Jackman off, undoubtedly, but it's probably no more than wishful thinking.
