2. The Spider-Man/Human Torch Relationship

In previous movie franchises, the characters of Spider-Man and the Human Torch have been very much confined to their own little universes. Spider-Man has starred in two solo franchises, in which no other superheroes were present, while the Human Torch has been a part of two different Fantastic Four franchises, in which his only true allies were his fellow Fantastic Four team members. Now, Spider-Man is confirmed as having been brought in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he will undoubtedly become a key member of the Avengers, while rumours of the Fantastic Four joining him persist. If those rumours turn out to be true, Spider-Man could end up allying with the Human Torch. The pair - whose real names are Peter Parker and Johnny Storm - have one of the most iconic friendships in comic books and even had their own comic book title together. Having them pair-up in the MCU, should the opportunity arise, would be a great way to differentiate them from previous live action versions.
