MCU: 10 Characters Who Could Lead The Avengers Against Kang The Conqueror

In a perfect world, this would have been the case for Avengers: Infinity War. Adam Warlock led Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against Thanos in the comics, and if things had been different years ago, he could potentially have been sent to Earth instead of Hulk, and with the Avengers fractured would have taken the lead.

As it was, Warlock was unfortunately absent from the Infinity Saga, but has every chance to play an important role in the Multiverse Saga. Will Poulter will bring the perfect specimen to life in Guardians Volume 3, and potentially earlier in the Guardians Holiday Special, and fans have every reason to believe he will be there in The Kang Dynasty.

In the source material, Warlock has an intimate knowledge of Thanos and the Infinity Stones, literally having the Soul Stone embedded in his forehead, and has even lived within the Stone itself for a time. All this to say he is an incredibly powerful character, and it is a crime that he was absent from the story that he had such an important role in in the comics.

There is now a chance for redemption in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. He has literally been bred to be perfect, and will have powers the likes of which the MCU has never seen before. The Avengers could do a lot worse than line up behind Adam.
