MCU: 6 Places Shang-Chi Could Turn Up Next
4. Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania
As with any MCU movie, there are always rumours and theories regarding which characters from across the franchise could make an appearance. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings featured Wong, the Abomination, Trevor Slattery, Captain Marvel, and Bruce Banner, but there was a strong rumour from before the movie that was ultimately proven wrong.
Based on little more than geographical proximity, there was a rumour that Scott Lang could show up in Shang-Chi. With most of the MCU’s movie’s taking place either in space or on the east coast of the USA, Shang-Chi’s setting of San Francisco immediately brought Ant-Man to mind.
Of course, this ultimately came to nothing, but with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania coming soon, the rumour may be reversed. Could Shang-Chi pop in to help Scott Lang in his battle against Kang the Conqueror?
It’s unlikely that he would have any large role in the movie, and would be featured more in passing rather than as a major role, but a cameo on the same kind of level as Doctor Strange in Thor: Ragnarok certainly wouldn’t be out of the realms of possibility.
