5. West Coast Avengers
The West Coast Avengers have had a fair few different lineups over the years, with their current roster the most comedic. As well as Miss America and Kate Bishop, the West Coast Avengers have Gwenpool, Kid Omega and Kate’s boyfriend, Fuse.
These are Fresh Start West Coast Avengers though, with the classic teams boasting more recognised heroes. The West Coast Avengers were the first ever spin off from the Earth’s mightiest defenders, so may be the first ones in the MCU too.
It’s started initially by Vision and Hawkeye, with War Machine, Mockingbird, Wonder Man and Tigra joining soon after. Hank Pym, the Thing and Moon Knight are added as the West Coast Avengers gain speed too.
In the MCU, it’s likely War Machine who would head things up, especially if they go for the classic team. Ant-Man could be a stand-in for Hank Pym, while you figure Moon Knight will be introduced sooner or later as Marvel make their way through their remaining heroes.
The classic story gets pretty dark though, so may get tweaked for the screen. Pym attempts suicide, while Phantom Rider (basically cowboy Ghost Rider) rapes Mockingbird; she later gets her revenge by letting him fall to his death.
