6. Ronan The Accuser

Ronan is the only one here who’s an existing villain in the MCU, but there’s good reason for bringing him back as the overarching villain aside from just his popularity.
He was working with Thanos in the first Guardians, then openly defied him to take the Power Stone for himself. In the end, this proves to be his undoing as (after a dance off) Star-Lord is able to use the Stone to obliterate him.
However, we all but know that the snap is going to be undone or reversed some way. When the likes of Spider-Man and Black Panther come back, could Ronan join them?
He was, after all, directly killed by an Infinity Stone, a fate which as far as we know has only befallen the snapped. There would be a sense of poetic irony if in bringing back the fallen, the Avengers also resurrect their next foe.
Even if he doesn’t return as the next in line to Thanos’ throne, Ronan seems to be heavily involved behind the scenes with the Kree and the Skrulls, so we’ll likely see him again in Captain Marvel 2.
