8. Moon Knight Could Potentially Play A Role

The Rumour:

Moon Knight is a street-level vigilante who, despite starting out as a Batman analogue of sorts, has developed into one of Marvel's most compelling comic book properties. That recent success on the page has prompted discussions about his future off of it, with Kevin Feige even mentioning prior to the release of Avengers: Infinity War that the hero was one of many discussed on the studio's "character cards."

The Response:

Although Moon Knight is one of those Marvel characters difficult to see working on the big screen, it seems as though there's a lot of love for him within the company's halls of power. MCU scribes Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have previously said they want someone to make "a really cool" Moon Knight film, and actor Ross Marquand - who played the Red Skull in Infinity War - even stated that he'd fancy portraying the anti-hero if the opportunity was ever made available.

How Marvel reconcile the darker tone of the character's story with the decidedly less grim MCU (ignoring the deaths of trillions in Infinity War for just a second) remains to be seen, but it seems as though the studio are telegraphing his introduction pretty blatantly, whether that comes on the small screen in Disney+, or on its silver counterpart.
