New High-Rise Teaser Is Probably The Tallest Poster Ever

Prepare for artistic vertigo.

The artwork associated with the adaptation of JG Ballard's High-Rise has been moody and gorgeous so far, and this latest teaser poster is no exception. It's really tall, showing the full height of the titular building with an unlucky fellow finding the social metaphor all a bit too much. Check it out in all its glory below. Tom Hiddleston is headlining the film, ahead of a cast that includes Luke Evans, Elisabeth Moss and Jeremy Irons. The plot follows a tower block in 1975 which soon falls prey to its own dystopian hierarchy and its inhabitants become victims of insanity. From the sound of things there's even a bit where Hiddleston eats a dog(!?). Directed by Ben Wheatley (perfectly suited to the material), the film received rave reviews at London Film Festival last year. A teaser trailer was recently glimpsed in the form of an advert for the titular high rise building, and Hiddleston looks to be on suitably smarmy/borderline-psychotic form. It's safe to expect this one to crop up on a lot of Best-of-2016 lists at the end of the year, which is saying something considering 2016 has only just begun. Are you looking forward to High-Rise? High-Rise is released in the UK on 18th March 2016.
