4. Kyle Miller - Tresspass (2011)
Another year, another Worst Actor Razzie nom for Nic Cage. Oh, wait, sorry Trespass was released in 2011, the same year as Season of the Witch. Yes, Cage got top billing in both of these certifiable stinkers in the same year (as well as Drive Angry, for which he was also nominated for the same Razzie award, although that's at least a bit of fun). Trespass is dumb and nasty, with a weak script and an overly complex plot, the kind of film that Cage unfortunately is well known for these days. Cage here plays Kyle Miller, a fast-talking bigshot businessman whose family home is invaded by a gang of thieves masquerading as police. Not that Miller minds much, since it's evident in the beginning of the film that he hates his family anyway. Hilariously, pretty much everyone but Cage were praised for their performances in this dreck, including Cage's on-screen wife Nicole Kidman and baddy Ben Mendelshon. Cage completely overacts, which is fun in different circumstances. Here it's just uncomfortable and sad to watch.
