6. Hank Pym Dies - Ant-Man & The Wasp

If a movie is in any way associated with Disney, there's the likelihood that someone's going to end up with a dead parent, and Michael Douglas' genius scientist Hank Pym is the probable casualty in Ant-Man's upcoming sequel.

It's especially likely as the film will confirm that his wife Janet van Dyne, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, is very much alive, and what's more dramatically ironic and bittersweet than their reunion being devastatingly brief? Hope has to mourn her father's death at the end, but also gets her dear mother back.

Pym will probably do something heroic or sacrificial before dying at the hands of the villainous Ghost, and though he could certainly be resurrected in the future with the help of an alternate dimension or the Eye of Agamotto, he's most definitely not surviving the movie.
