13. Lara Croft Gets Her Iconic Ponytail - Tomb Raider

The trailer for the upcoming Alicia Vikander-starring Tomb Raider adaptation features a sequence in which Lara buys two pistols from two seeming comic relief characters, played by Nick Frost and Jaime Winstone.

The dual pistols are, of course, an iconic aspect of the original mid-90s conception of Lara Croft, which combined with the traditional ponytail, seems to suggest that this scene occurs at the very end of the movie.

Lara has made it through her arduous island adventure, she's made it back home, and now she's totally ready and tooled up for more adventures (and a potential movie franchise) ahead. Throw in a statuesque hero shot after this scene and you've got your ending right there.

If it appears anywhere before the final five minutes of the film, it'll be genuinely shocking.
