Predicting The Post-Credits Scenes Of Every Major 2017 Comic-Book Movie

2. Thanos & The Soul Stone (Thor: Ragnarok)

Thanos Avengers Infinity War
Marvel

Release Date: October 27th

Thor: Ragnarok is the last time we'll see an MCU movie that relates to the Infinity Stones and Thanos, before Avengers: Infinity War hits the following year. Black Panther does release in-between the two, but that probably won't focus on any of the MCU's space-related elements.

And since Thanos won't be in Guardians Vol. 2, it's up to the God of Thunder's latest outing to take care of any remaining pieces of setup involving the Infinity Gauntlet and the Stones themselves.

We're betting that the final Stone (Soul) will show up in Ragnarok, but will fall out of the possession of our heroes at some point during the film (if they ever even have it at all). That leaves it free for a certain world-destroying villain, gauntlet in hand, to collect, and that's exactly what this post-credits tag will show us.

The Prediction: Thanos doesn't have very many of the Infinity Stones yet. The Mind Stone lives in Vision's forehead, The Collector has the Reality Stone, Doctor Strange has the Time Stone, the Nova Corps has the Power Stone and Thor took the Space Stone back to Asgard.

This stinger will see him gain his first, though - the Soul Stone. He'll slot it into the Gauntlet and give us one of those famous, white-toothed grins, as he sets out to claim the rest of these powerful objects.
