7. Are There Any Legacy Character Cameos?

With Solo taking place in the sweet spot between the prequels and the original trilogy, there's a ton of room for the movie to feature fan-service cameos from a host of characters. If the rumours are true, could we see appearances from the likes of Jabba the Hutt, Boba Fett and perhaps even Darth Maul?

Prediction: It would be incredibly surprising if there wasn't at least one surprise appearance from a legacy character. Jabba is an intriguing choice as he seems to suit the grimy heist movie tone rather well if he can be inserted without contradicting any prior movies.

Boba Fett would perhaps be the most amusing pick considering that Han is the cause of his demise, and Fett showing up would immediately drive fans into a sure frenzy. Rogue One proved how Lucasfilm isn't at all shy when it comes to thickly laying on the fan-service, so he's the most likely bet.

Darth Maul has potential, but it's hard to imagine Solo referencing the prequels so blatantly, unless it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo with no substance at all.

To confirm: Boba Fett is the smart choice, especially with persistent rumours that he may get his own spin-off movie in the future. This would be a great way to test the waters (if they really even need to be tested).
