8. Will Han's Origins Be Fully Revealed?

Many fans are hoping that Solo might shed some light on Han's mysterious past, namely the nature of his birth, his family, and what exactly caused him to become estranged from them and transition into a life of smuggling.

Will the reasoning behind Han's dickish demeanour be revealed, or will Lucasfilm keep playing things coy?

Prediction: This is a yes and no answer, basically. The movie is clearly going to show a young Han emerging from the wilderness and making fast friends with Chewie, but if you're hoping for Rogue One-esque flashbacks to Han's childhood, you're probably setting yourself up for disappointment.

Expect his dialogues with Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke) to reveal some vague morsels about his upbringing, but there likely won't be an extensive exposition dump on the subject, especially as a trilogy is planned and future movies can further explore it.
