Solo: A Star Wars Story - Every Major Character's Best Moment
4. Dryden Vos' Charming Ultimatum
After the Conveyex heist goes awry, Beckett reveals that he was carrying out the job for Dryden Vos. The gang visits Vos on his yacht and explains the situation, and naturally, he's none too pleased.
Vos nevertheless keeps his cool as he warns Beckett, "You know who I answer to, and you know what he'll expect of me" (in a nice tip of the hat to the later Darth Maul [Ray Park] reveal).
He implores Beckett, "Give me a reason not to kill you", and after the Kessel Run plan is set in motion, Vos hilariously turns on a dime, quipping, "We should do this again, it's been fun".
Before the team leaves the yacht, though, Vos reminds Beckett, "If you do fail me again, we'll all be out of options."
It's this constant back-and-forth between his seemingly slick, charming exterior and the cold violence he's clearly capable of that makes Vos an entertaining villain even if his role in the movie is pretty minimal. It's really a testament to Paul Bettany, who plays the part perfectly.
