Solo: A Star Wars Story - Every Major Character's Best Moment
3. Han Shoots Beckett
Han's crowning moment and the one that best explains how he becomes the person we know him as in the original trilogy occurs at the very end of the film.
Han catches up to Beckett, who is attempting to flee with the coaxium, and a standoff ensues. As Beckett speaks, though, Han notices him starting to reach for his gun and shoots him in the chest.
A dying Beckett praises Han for his quick thinking, in a moment that establishes Han shooting Greedo in A New Hope and the general "act first, think later" nature of his character.
Some might find it a little too obvious and on-the-nose, but it was a pivotal, bada** turning point for the character all the same.
