Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer - 10 Major Questions We Have
6. Is The Movie Setting Up The Sinister Six?
Long before Far From Home even started shooting, it was widely speculated that the film would build on Homecoming's vague hints that it might be setting up the Sinister Six for a future film.
Homecoming introduced audiences to Vulture (Michael Keaton) and Scorpion (Michael Mando), and we know that Far From Home will at least add a third member to the mix in Mysterio.
But if the third Spider-Man movie will deal with all six members, at least four of them probably need to be introduced by the end of this film, and one just might be hiding in plain sight.
If rumours are to be believed, Remi Hii (pictured far left) will be playing a younger, reinvented version of Alistair Smyth, better known as supervillain The Ultimate Spider-Slayer.
To date Smyth has only appeared in a single iteration of the Sinister Six in 2017's Spider-Man animated series, but it's hardly beyond the MCU to tinker with pre-established lore, is it?
Elsewhere there are other cast members who could potentially be joining the team - actor Numan Acar has been speculated to be playing Chameleon, a regular Sinister Six stalwart.
If Far From Home's credits scenes don't start gathering the villains together to bring down Spidey once and for all, it would be pretty damn surprising.
