12. Could Nightwatch Appear?
According to Bleeding Cool, Sony employees have suspiciously begun taking a huge interest in Nightwatch, “buying up any and all comic books that feature the character.”
That could mean nothing, but in the past that sort of behaviour has “usually indicated that a character is planned for an upcoming movie and all the employees want to know everything they can about them, ahead of meetings, discussions, plans and merchandising strategies.”
So, he's definitely coming then...

It's a little tenuous, but as Marvel are promising a COMPLETELY different Spidey universe, this sort of curve-ball would fit.
Plus, there are unaccounted cast members still: both Logan Marshall-Green and Donald Glover are in, but neither has a character, and since Nightwatch is traditionally African American, Glover might work...
Or maybe Marvel and Sony are just planning for other upcoming movies in the same universe?
