9. The Amazing Spider-Man #33 Cover

When Peter goes to confront Toomes at his base, he's unwittingly trapped as Vulture sends out his suit in drone mode and targets the supporting pillars of the warehouse around where Peter stands. The roof crumbles on him, burying him under a massive amount of rubble.
He's left to die, but he summons the strength, somehow, to push the rubble off himself, in the process paying homage to one of the most iconic Spider-Man covers of all time: for The Amazing Spider-Man #33.
That cover, which was used for the culmination of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s “Master Planner” storyline sees Spidey trapped under machinery, unable to free himself. He motivates himself to get free to save Aunt May and is able to lift the huge weight, just as he does in Homecoming.
Both cases also see Peter ultimately hold the weight aloft triumphantly...
