Spider-Man: No Way Home - 10 Biggest Questions It Leaves Unanswered
2. What Has Matt Murdock Been Up To The Last Few Years?
It was great to see Matt Murdock aka Daredevil (Charlie Cox) make a brief, single-scene appearance in No Way Home as Peter Parker's lawyer, who in a scene-stealing moment catches a brick that's thrown through a window at him.
While it remains up in the air how much of the Netflix Marvel shows are actually canon in the MCU, it's fair to assume that most of the events in the Daredevil series did actually take place, as they don't create much in the way of continuity conflict with these movies.
And so, if we accept that to be true, what exactly has Matt been up to since the events of Daredevil's third and final season three years ago?
We know that the show ended with Matt getting back to work with Foggy (Elden Henson) and Karen (Deborah Ann Woll), but given that the series' final scene saw Dex aka Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) having his spine surgically repaired, it seemed to be setting up conflicts for the show's curtailed future.
As season three's ending more-or-less provided a reset for Matt as both a lawyer and a superhero, it's reasonable to believe that he got back to juggling the life of a public defender with that of Daredevil.
We're left to speculate on whether or not he ended up clashing with Dex, and given that No Way Home will probably be the character's last appearance in the MCU, we're unlikely to ever get concrete answers. Still, it's fun to think about.
