Spider-Man: No Way Home
Marvel Studios

Doc Oc won’t be the only villain crossing the previously uncrossed boundaries of Spider-Man franchises for No Way Home. While Alfred Molina will bring Sam Raimi’s franchise to the table in 2022, The Amazing Spider-Man universe will be represented by Jamie Foxx’s Electro.

Along with Harry Osborn, Electro was the villain for Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and will be brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe seemingly by Doctor Strange.

The trailer specifically showed Alfred Molina in an incredible scene that showed off both his mechanical appendages from which he took his villainous name, and his de-aged look. The same cannot be said about Jamie Foxx’s character, as he was kept out of the trailer at least for now.

However, since it had already been announced that the Soul actor was returning, all it took from Marvel Studios was a little flash of lightning to get the fans excited about the character’s franchise debut.
