9. New Goblin - Spider-Man 3

James Franco's New Goblin (the WORST name for a second generation villain) was a bit of an acquired taste, to say the least. He was like a bro version of his father, with a ski mask and goggles that made his head weirdly vulnerable and seemed to serve no purpose other than visual impact.

Just imagine what would have happened if we'd got the versions that EJ Krisor showed off around the time of the film's release. They went more for a futuristic look (partly Back To The Future, part Buckaroo Banzai.

That sword and dagger combination might have been interesting, though.
