6. Zendaya's Mystery Character

Though plot details and specific characters are being kept under strict control, the recent revelation that Disney TV show star Zendaya has been added as a mysterious schoolmate of Peter Parker has nevertheless set tongues wagging.

The Shake It Up star will presumably playing a figure from the comics (or there'd be no issue with hiding her character name), with rumours suggesting she could be the new Mary Jane or movie franchise newcomer Michele Gonzales (otherwise known as White Tiger).

It's definitely an interesting casting in terms of spelling out Marvel's attempts to woo a younger demographic specifically.
