10. A New Enterprise? 
I hate to break it to those of you who've been living under a rock the last several months but LOOK OUT THE ENTERPRISE IS CRASHING TO EARTH!!! That's right folks, there's no amount of Scotty engineering magic that can save the single greatest ship in science-fiction cinema. Yes, the Enterprise is greater than the Millennium Falcon. Feel free to crucify me in the comment section. New versions of the Enterprise are nothing new to fans of the franchise. While it may surprise some that J.J. Abrams waited barely a film and a half to destroy his, it was bound to happen eventually. Personally I wish they could have saved the surprise of the destruction for the film but I understand why they used it in the trailers. Undoubtedly, it will be one of the biggest action pieces of the film and a truly significant turning point in the plot. I have no doubt that when we finally see it, it will be an impressive sequence even though we know it's coming. I do hope that by the end of the film we get to at least have a nice glimpse at the new NCC-1701-A or whatever they decide to call it.
