8. The Force Awakens Figures
The Force Awakens is out on December 18th, but merchandise released to tie into the film will be hitting shelves a few months before in September. This is one cash cow that is going to get seriously milked. One of the biggest sellers for Star Wars has long been the action figures, and that will be no different when it comes to Episode VII. There is going to be a Hasbro (who make the toys) panel, with rumours of a special product reveal. These figures could then give us a first proper look at characters from the movie, and indeed include further information on their backstory. The new-look Stormtrooper figure has already been revealed online, including a little snippet of information about the rise of the First Order (the new Empire, basically), and something similar could be done for the likes of Finn, Rey, and Kylo Ren.
