Star Wars: 10 Giant Plot-Holes You Probably Missed

3. The Jedi Don't Use the Force Enough

jtY55OE The force is this omnipresent entity that Jedi can use to control practically anything. Yet they lack the idea of trying it a bit more in combat. What's stopping a dueling Jedi from switching his opponent's lightsaber off in mid collision? Or locking an enemy in place (such as Jango Fett when Obi-Wan fought him), or even bringing down a small vehicle with a well timed Force-push or lightsaber throw (such as the annoyingly slow and tedious chase scene at the end of Attack of the Clones, directly before Padmé channels her inner psychic. There are so many instances where the near unstoppable Force could be used to easily correct many problems that the Jedi face, it's bloody ridiculous they don't try more often.
