Star Wars 10 Most Powerful Uses Of The Force

The greatest feats of force power the galaxy has ever seen.

The great Jedi Master Yoda once said that size matters not, a point he then proved by lifting a several ton X-wing out of the bottom of a bog with nothing but a flick of his wrist. So clearly the little gremlin knows what he's talking about. Especially when you look and see what other stuff a really good force user can do if they put their spiritual backs into it.

Mind you, not all of it is considered canon, but that's never stopped us before! The beauty of the force is how there basically aren't any rules to it besides only certain people being born with the ability to use it. So you don't need to worry about this or that force ability contradicting canon like the rest of the Expanded Universe. It's magic, they are under NO obligations to explain ANYTHING.

Every corner of Star Wars lore is up for grabs here. Of course that means we're likely to miss a ton of stuff, simply due to us not having read/played/watched everything in this mega franchise, but these ten entries should still definitely be counted among the most devastatingly powerful uses of the force in the Star Wars universe.

10. Bastila's Mass Battle Meditation (KOTOR)

Battle meditation was an ability introduced in Bioware's masterstroke, Knights Of The Old Republic. Originally a technique that only the young Jedi Bastila Shan could use, it is a force power that provides a sense of moral and inner strength to the soldiers on the user's side of a battle, and reduces those same things in their enemies.

Throughout the game you don't ever really see battle meditation in action, and it wouldn't become an active force ability until the second game. But when Bastila does whip it out, you immediately understand why the Jedi sent a girl barely into her 20's up against the most powerful Sith lord of his day. Sure is a shame that she does this while a Sith lord herself.

When Darth Malak tortuously converts Bastila to the dark side and steals away into the ancient, massive battle droid factor known as the Star Forge, the Republic launches a full scale invasion against him. However, the minute YOU land on the Star Forge, things immediately go south, as Bastila uses her battle meditation on an entire space fleet. While the folks on her side are droids and thus have no morale to increase, she saps the hell out of the Republic forces, almost winning the battle entirely before you stop her. And if you spare her (which you should Bastila is awesome) she proceeds to turn the battle right back around for the Republic.

And this is why Bastila is Bastila, and everyone else is everyone else.
