5. He Believed That Anakin Was The Chosen One Even After Anakin Became Darth Vader
As soon as he met Anakin, Qui-Gon was sure that the boy would bring balance to the Force. This would fulfil the prophecy of the “chosen one.” Before he died, Qui-Gon asked Obi-Wan to train Anakin, defying the wishes of the Jedi Council. Classic Qui-Gon.
Eventually, Anakin fell to the Dark Side of the Force. Qui-Gon witnessed this event as a Force Spirit, but he didn’t lose faith.
