Star Wars Rogue One: 12 Most Awesome Moments

Rogue One’s climax features an epic space battle between the rebel fleet and imperial forces, in order to buy Rogue One more time. Sure we’ve seen our fair share of space battles in the franchise, but Garth Edwards manages to give this one some grit and intensity.

The rebels also get creative during the battle, deciding at one point to bypass shooting lasers and using the Star Destroyer’s themselves as improvised weapons. A small rebel ship rams into a Destroyer, forcing it into the path of another nearby destroyer, and they collide specularly into one another.

Aside from being a smart approach to the fight, the crashing ships also destroy the shield that was preventing the rebel signal being broadcast; good move, guys.
