Star Wars: Solo - 10 New Details Lucasfilm Just Revealed

1. Harrison Ford's Advice

Ehrenreich is, of course, stepping into some HUGE shoes. It's not just that he's taking on the role of Han Solo, but that he's the first person to play the character other than the legend that is Harrison Ford. It's no easy feat and, while Ford may be done with Star Wars, he did have some advice for the younger actor.

"Tell them I told you everything you needed to know, and that you can’t tell anyone," Ford told Ehrenreich, which is just about the most Ford/Solo advice imaginable.

However, there was more to it than the lunch those two shared, as director Ron Howard also went to Ford for some friendly advice:

"[Harrison] said that Han is always torn between that sense that he was, in a way, an orphan, and therefore both yearned for connection with people and struggled with it at the same time. I thought that was pretty interesting.”
