Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 7 Post-Credits Scenes That Wouldn’t Actually Suck

5. Force Ghosts

When you really think about it, the force ghost scene from Return of the Jedi would have actually made a fantastic post-credits shot. Of course, back in the 80s, these post-credits clips weren't in use yet. That said, an equivalent scene at the end of The Force Awakens would make a lot of sense. Who would be in it would likely rely on who survives the film from the returning cast, but the bonus of this particular option is that other characters not even in the film itself could show up (Yoda or Obi-Wan, for example). At some point in time, it's likely that force ghosts will come into play, and this is as good of an option as any. They could be used to set up future events, similar to Obi-wan and Yoda's exchange in The Empire Strikes Back, where the force-ghost Obi-wan states "that boy is our last hope" and Yoda replies with "No, there is another."
