Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 7 Spoilers That Have Already Been Revealed

2. Luke Is The Last Jedi

The Information: The same Look & Find book that leaked Poe's opening mission also revealed that the last Jedi is Master Luke Skywalker himself, as has been long-speculated by many. Here's the quote from the book...

"Starkiller Base is vanquished, but Kylo Ren has escaped. Thanks to Rey and her friends, BB-8 brought Luke Skywalker’s coordinates back to the Resistance. On their behalf, Rey travels to the planet Ahch-To, hoping to enlist Luke’s help. While Rey persuades the last Jedi to join the Resistance, look for these rocky features…"

Again, the book is an official Disney product, so can be trusted.

Some would even say that this information was confirmed during Episode VII's opening crawl, which referred to Luke as the last Jedi. Either way, it looks to be official.

Why It's A Spoiler: Well... it just is, right?

There's a reason Lucasfilm and Rian Johnson have never openly said who the last Jedi actually is; they want fans to be guessing and speculating, and they want to keep that information concealed until the film comes out. Rian Johnson hasn't been very forthcoming when discussing this topic in the past. He wants people to keep guessing right up until the moment they sit down to watch his movie.

People have been speculating for months (since the title was announced at the start of the year) about who the last Jedi is. Many fans suggested Rey, some suggested Luke, and some even suggested Kylo Ren.

By putting that speculation to bed, a question that the movie should have answered has been answered before it even comes out.
