Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Every Deleted Scene Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Poe: Not Much Of A Sewer

Finn and Poe barely get any time together in The Last Jedi, and considering that their friendship was one of the best parts of The Force Awakens, that's a disappointment.

It's good to see the two bounce off each other, even in this all-too brief scene; Boyega and Isaac have great chemistry, and the bit about the jacket is touching and amusing.

All that said... this doesn't really do anything for the film's plot. What do we learn here? That Poe is gearing up to fight off the First Order? That was obvious anyway - it's Poe! That Finn is going to jet off to try and save Rey? We have that explained to us later in the movie, shortly after he meets Rose.

This is a good moment, but a superfluous one.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show.
