Though HBO didn't bother putting out a legit trailer for Game of Thrones, they did bolster the show's mind-share during the Big Game by partnering with Bud Light for an initially hilarious ad which...quickly gets very, very dark.

After homaging the bloody battle between The Mountain and The Viper, Daenerys' (Emilia Clarke) pet dragon Drogon shows up, setting the entire place on fire with zero prejudice while anyone lucky enough to avoid the flames runs for their life.

If nothing else, it's certainly in the show's tradition of shocking its audience. Bud Light is still gutter swill, though.
