A few times throughout the film, logos for Stagg Industries are visible. 

This is a reference to Stagg Enterprises from the Superman comics, a research company owned by billionaire Simon Stagg, who is traditionally responsible for Rex Mason (Anthony Carrigan) being turned into Metamorpho in the first place.

Basically, Stagg wasn't very fond of Mason dating his daughter Sapphire, and so Simon arranged for Mason to be exposed to a radioactive meteorite, transforming him into Metamorpho. 

It remains to be seen if we'll ever actually see Simon Stagg on screen, but Gunn has nevertheless teed up that possibility for future DCU movies.
