The Best Moment Of Every MCU Film - Ranked

6. The God Of Thunder – Thor: Ragnarok

After an average introduction to the MCU and then one of the franchise's least popular movies, Thor was in desperate need of rejuvenation. Enter Taika Waititi who, with Ragnarok, turned the Thunder God's franchise from one of the MCU's weakest to one of its strongest.

Not only was this a result of the unique and brilliant humour of the director and the heartbreaking loss of Odin - yet another member of Thor's family to die! - it came with the transformation of the titular hero himself. Once he was reminded what he was truly the God of, Thor seemed to evolve into an even better version of himself.

The pinnacle of this was moments after the Asgardian embraced the lightning coursing through his veins without the assistance of Mjolnir. He leapt in slow motion from his battle with Hela into a mosh pit of her minions, with a trail of lightning following, to the sound of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song.

Thor then ripped his way through countless enemies, some being taken out just by the sparks flying from the God of Thunder's body. This was his rejuvenation and reawakening as one of the most powerful Avengers, and it was absolutely epic. Who needs a magic hammer, anyway?
