The Best Moment Of Every MCU Film - Ranked

2. Avengers Assemble – The Avengers

At the time, The Avengers was the biggest and most ambitious crossover movie in the history of cinema. These kinds of events had been done countless times throughout the history of the comics, but never before on the big screen.

Bringing together six heroes from five movies across four franchises could have gone disastrously wrong, but it was an absolute home run for Marvel Studios. Seeing the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor on the same screen was something special, and as great as the first two acts of the movie were, having the Avengers assemble for the first time was even better.

It took Earth's Mightiest Heroes more than a little while to get on the same page, but the shot circling around the fully formed team, ready to fight Loki, was confirmation that the idea had worked and that Marvel Studios had something special on its hands.

Much like Thor's entrance in Infinity War, the use of the now iconic Avengers music played a key role in this scene, sending shivers down the spines of everyone watching. Just moments after Banner rejoined the team, this was a truly standout, unprecedented comic book movie moment.
