2. The Fan-Service Can Be Distracting - Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame served as the culmination of an eleven-year story spread out over twenty-two films. The hype was so insurmountable, the directors and writers did everything in their power to make the film as satisfying as possible.

And you know what that means. Fan-service. Injokes and subtle references galore. Cap lifts Thor's hammer. "On your left." "Avengers assemble." And of course, "I am Iron Man."

All of these callbacks are fantastic and hit you right in the feels but there are SO many, it can't help but take you out of the film, which is annoying when you're trying to enjoy the epic showdown or a tear-jerking moment.
