Thor: Ragnarok - 10 Big Implications Of Marvel Adding Hulk

5. Thor IS Coming Back To Earth

Previously, there were some pretty logical rumours that Thor wouldn't be visiting Earth at all in the third instalment of his stand-alone franchise. By the end of Age Of Ultron he'd left Earth on his mission to save Asgard and find out about the Infinity Stones, and he was heading into a sh*tstorm that it wouldn't exactly be appropriate to involve his human buddies in. So it wasn't an unreasonable assumption to accept that Natalie Portman and Stellan Skarsgard would be left behind, and Earth wouldn't appear at all. But now, that's all changed. The end of Age Of Ultron saw Hulk flying off into the sunset (presumably to somewhere like Fiji where he could rampage to his hearts content, apparently), but crucially staying on-planet. In order to team up with him and embark on their Super Buds Road-Trip, Thor is going to have to go and get Hulk, unless someone's going to mention him being jettisoned off into space in a background conversation during Civil War or something.
