The most marketable character in the MCU will surely live forever, right?

Why?

Actually, before Infinity War confirmed that Loki is alive after the end of Thor: Ragnarok, it would have been a pretty healthy guess that he'd atone for his betrayal of his father and the downfall of Asgard by dying. And not just fake dying like he did in The Dark World either - real, honest to goodness dead.

But now Loki has been confirmed as seemingly working with Thanos in Infinity War (he was spotted in the D23 footage) and in possession of the Tesseract, we know he's alive. He's probably not tight with Thor any more, since we know he goes to watch the Sakaar games, but he's also probably enjoying his exile from Hela's Asgard a lot more than his brother.
