Prediction: Lives

It might be somewhat typical for new romantic interest characters to be killed in war movies, but Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie is a lot more than a wallflower.

Why?

Well, she's in Infinity War for certain as she's been seen on the set - and assuming she's not playing a ghost - that's a pretty big indicator that she's alive after Thor: Ragnarok.

That aside, were it not for the suggestion that both Sif and Skurge will lay down their lives sacrificially, you could perhaps expect Valkyrie to be another candidate for self-sacrifice (since it's her that brings Thor to the Grandmaster as a captive). But she's also replacing Natalie Portman as Thor's new love interest, and as reductive as that might seem, Marvel simply wouldn't kill her off immediately with that responsibility laid out.
