7. The Musical Choice

Led Zeppelin and Thor are a marriage made in Valhalla that absolutely should have been explored by now. It might be because the first two movies were so serious (albeit aside from Thor's theatricality under Kenneth Branagh), but there wouldn't have traditionally been any space where the two could co-exist in the MCU before now.

But think about it - the bombast, the pomp, the flowing hair and the lyrics steeped in mythology... And that's without even mentioning the explicit "hammer of the Gods" line. It's almost like The Immigrant Song was made for this story specifically.

Sure, some will say that this sort of so-cool-it's-almost-distracting musical choice is usually the preserve of Guardians Of The Galaxy movies, but if you're complaining about anyone attempting to emulate that success, you probably don't deserve to state opinions out-loud. And you've probably never seen a Taika Waititi movie.
