13. Jerry Seinfeld - Bee Movie

Jerry Seinfeld is not largely known as a movie star. As an outspoken public figure? Sure. A stand up comedian? Incredibly popular. The face of one of the most successful American sitcoms that was literally his namesake? Iconic. Film roles, however? Not so much.

One of the actor's only real notable big screen roles came as Barry B. Benson in 2007's Bee Movie. In no regard is it a classic - in fact it's a rather forgettable entry in a year that also boasted animated classics like Ratatouille and The Simpsons Movie.

However, even almost a decade later he was still being asked about plans for a sequel, to which his answer swiftly shot down any hopes of him lending his voice to a cartoon character again. In a 2016 Reddit AMA session, Seinfeld stated that in spite of a widespread call for a sequel, including from his own kids, he wouldn't reprise his role.

This was partly because he didn't want to tarnish the legacy of the first film, though with a Rotten Tomatoes score of just 49% that's a questionable motivation. The real reason was that he had no interest in returning to animation, saying "If you had any idea what animation is, you'd never do it".
